About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustaining Engineer to join our design engineering team at Dover Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting production, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support production operations to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and manufacturing procedures
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Engineering degree, preferably in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
  • Design experience, preferably in valve design and development
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) expertise
  • 3D CAD expertise, preferably in PTC Creo
  • 2D CAD experience, preferably in AutoCAD
  • Formal problem-solving experience and project management skills
  • Technical writing experience and ability to communicate complex technical information effectively

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Working Conditions
  • This position is performed in a manufacturing environment and office environment
  • May be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold temperatures, chemicals, and vapors
  • May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
