About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Development Officer to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fundraising professional to lead our development efforts and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and innovative fundraising strategies.

Company Overview: The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Our mission is to end Alzheimer's disease and all other dementias by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

Salary and Benefits: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. Full-time employees (37.5 hours/week) will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, flex accounts, short and long-term disability, life insurance, long term care insurance, tuition reimbursement, generous Paid Time Off, 12 annual holidays, and Paid Family Leave.

Job Description: As Vice President, Development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive development strategies to achieve revenue goals. You will work closely with cross-functional leadership to identify and cultivate key community leaders and corporate partners, build sustainable relationships, and drive revenue growth through positive engagement with staff and volunteers.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of proven leadership experience in peer-to-peer, fundraising, and other diversified fundraising programs
  • Experience with mass market events like Walk to End Alzheimer's
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data to increase productivity and enhance results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
