Patient Transporter

We are seeking a skilled Patient Transporter to join our team at HonorHealth. As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for transporting patients and materials throughout all hospital areas, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring compliance with regulations, safety protocols, and patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or chair, and non-patient moves to and from designated areas or departments.
- Comply with all safety protocols when transporting patients and materials, using proper body mechanics and ensuring patient safety when transferring patients to and from multiple surfaces and/or devices.
- Operate company-issued mobile devices, including dispatch roles, and maintain accurate documentation and complete accurate handoffs with clinical staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other members of the care team, introducing yourself, verifying patient identity, and informing patients of their destination.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Clinical certification, such as Basic Life Support (BLS), upon hire.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including day shifts and weekend shifts, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per quarter.
