We are seeking a highly skilled Wound Care Certified Registered Nurse (WCC RN) to join our team at Sutter Health. As a WCC RN, you will serve as a clinical resource for the interdisciplinary team, providing expert care to patients with complicated wounds and related care issues.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement complex plans of care for wound treatment, prevention, and healing modalities.
Conduct wound consults as assigned by the Lead WOCN and provide clinical guidance to the interdisciplinary team.
Collaborate with administrative staff, Quality department, and materials management department to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
RN Graduate from an accredited curriculum.
Minimum of two years of recent home care experience.
Direct patient care experience within the past five years required.
Registered Nurse - State Licensure - RN.
Wound Care Certified – WCC.
Preferred Qualifications:
Continence certification recommended.
Basic Life Support Certification - BLS.
California RN License.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to remain sedentary for approximately 50% of the day.
Must be able to maneuver around objects, climb stairs, and/or work in relatively small spaces.
Must be able to bend over or stretch as necessary in care provision.
