Job Summary

The Store Supervisor plays a vital role in assisting store management in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and achieving business results. This role requires a strong ability to collaborate with the management team, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Provide exceptional customer service by modeling behaviors that align with the company's values and responding to customer requests with a high sense of urgency.
  • Maintain store standards and complete daily tasks related to opening and closing, including store cleaning and recovery.
  • Meet metric-based goals by reviewing and communicating daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
  • Review daily communication, plan tasks, and follow through with required actions.

Inventory Management

  • Maximize sales and success by maintaining a well-organized sales floor and stockroom, ensuring an appealing experience for customers.
  • Supervise and participate in inventory management activities, including freight receipt, placement, markdowns, and MOOS.
  • Responsible for omni activities, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, and Delivery.
  • Utilize inventory reports to optimize productivity and merchandise presentation.

Human Resources

  • Collaborate with the store leadership team to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates, as well as training and coaching associates.
  • Communicate development feedback to the management team and provide feedback on associate performance.
  • Support team members in managing payroll and associate timekeeping activities.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a positive mindset and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to manage ambiguous situations and resolve internal and external conflicts.
  • Collaborative working relationships and ability to recognize critical tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate others.
  • Time management and professionalism, with availability to meet business needs.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
  • Some college education preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
