Job SummaryThis per diem/PRN position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients. You will be responsible for evaluating patient needs and recommending treatment plans, providing respiratory care, performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, promoting continuous quality improvement, and teaching and counseling patients/families.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Teach and counsel patients/families.
- Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
- Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
- Current state licensure is required.
- Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire.
- One year of related experience preferred.
The salary for this position is $37.50 per hour, plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends. Regency Hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
