Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp in Fort Collins, CO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to provide top-notch patient care and perform various ultrasound procedures. As a member of our team, you will contribute to ensuring the safety and quality of our patients and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound procedures to provide accurate diagnostic images and results.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and education.
  • Implement safety standards and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions as necessary.
  • Analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
