Specialization:

We are seeking a dedicated and accomplished Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Methodist ER - Helotes in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will have
  • Broad expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
  • Possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • 7,400 annual volume with 7 ED beds and 24 hours of physician coverage
  • Shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a with trauma transfers to Methodist Hospital or Methodist Children's Hospital

Our state-of-the-art emergency facility is equipped to serve both adults and children. The emergency services team is fully trained to handle a variety of adult and pediatric conditions.

Key features of our facility include:
  • Radiology, full-service laboratory and telemetry
  • Specific on-site diagnostic equipment includes: 64-slice CT scanner, dedicated x-ray suite, ultrasound and telemetry equipment
  • Immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical with quick transfer capabilities to any Methodist Healthcare facility
