Job Summary:

As an Escrow Officer at Anywhere Real Estate, you will be the key to home ownership. You will be the human link between our process and people, ensuring that all associated paperwork is completed efficiently and accurately. You will work with agents and their clients to keep the process moving forward, verifying that titles are clean, taxes are paid, and loans are funded. You will be responsible for reviewing contracts, following instructions, and ensuring that all terms have been carried to completion.

Responsibilities:

* Review and verify all paperwork to ensure timely and accurate closing
* Work with lenders and underwriters to ensure that all I's are dotted and T's are crossed to fund and complete transactions
* Establish and maintain relationships with essential industry players - agents, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and government agencies
* Train escrow assistants to open opportunities for advancement

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent; take continuing education courses as required
* Two to three years of escrow experience, both front- and back-end experience
* Notary public and escrow officer licenses
* Technical knowledge of closing process
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
* Strong written and verbal skills to keep agents, buyers, sellers, and all other parties up to date with the process and work with them to resolve issues
