About the Role

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Installation Foreman to lead our project crews and ensure the successful completion of our commercial installation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation process, managing project schedules, and ensuring that our high standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and train project crews to ensure efficient and accurate installation of HVAC/R systems
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure project schedules are met
  • Communicate effectively with tradespeople, customers, and project stakeholders
  • Monitor and control job costs to ensure profitability
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with CoolSys policies and procedures, including safety protocols and project tracking
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or a related industry/trade
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours
  • Ability to organize tasks and use good judgment in making work assignments
  • Ability to give clear instructions and guidance, as needed
  • Ability to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as needed
  • Ability to ensure safe work practices and ensure compliance with Safety policies
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and track record of punctuality and dependability
  • Ability to use computer tools, including email, word processing, and project planning software
