Job Summary:

The Radiology Department Supervisor oversees the management of multiple Radiology locations, technologists, and ancillary personnel. Key responsibilities include scheduling personnel, assigning tasks, maintaining equipment, and participating in rotational weekend leadership. This position requires the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment, inspire and motivate staff, and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from a nationally recognized accrediting organization required or enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program with annual progress reports.
  • Minimum three years of Radiology experience required. Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulate scheduling of personnel, work assignments, and equipment repair.
  • Participate in rotational weekend leadership.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of State/Federal regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality, performance improvement, and patient safety programs.
Licensures and Certifications:

Required licensure and certification are dependent upon area of specialty/responsibility, including Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), Fluoroscopy, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), National License from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

Advanced certification from ARRT and Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) are preferred. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and a valid Driver's License are required at time of hire.
