Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to adult patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations, to identify and diagnose medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, as appropriate, to manage patient conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
Qualifications
  • Valid New York State license and registration as a physician assistant.
  • Appointment to the Medical Center Allied Health Personnel Staff.
