About the Role

Chemical Guys is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Clerk to support our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:
    • Enter and maintain production data in relevant systems.
    • Update and maintain accurate production records, including daily production trackers, work order entries, and inventory reports.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and track inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products.
    • Coordinate with the 3PL and site leadership team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Distribute production schedules, work orders, and additional relevant documentation to manufacturing leads.
    • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and department expectations.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Serve as a liaison between the production floor, management, and other departments.
    • Must have strong written & verbal communication skills to escalate all changes in production schedules, material shortages, and discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist in coordinating the workflow between different production teams and departments.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized production office environment.
    • Provide general administrative support to the production team, responding to emails, filing, and providing investigative details to support the implementation of corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Four (4) years of relevant experience is preferred. Experience in a clerical or administrative role within a manufacturing or production environment is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with ERP (Oracle).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Deliverables

  • 30 days:
    • Oracle – Conduct all work order creations and transfer requests without the need for supervision, supporting both production and kitting operations.
    • Field emails and address all work order discrepancies.
    • Meticulous data entry (Minimal typos or errors)
  • 60 days:
    • Pull, analyze, summarize and escalate inventory report results
    • Identify and propose continuous improvement opportunities to existing processes
  • 90 days:
    • Support monthly KPI reporting by generating the necessary reports and dashboards assisting the site leadership team

Compensation

$23-$25 per hour
