At Monroe Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, maintaining standards of professional nursing care.
Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
