About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our clinical services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to children, adolescents, and families in Pediatric Psychology.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical services to patients and families, including consultation, individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medical and psychological care.
  • Participate in clinical research activities, including quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise pediatric psychology practicum students, pre-doctoral interns, and postdoctoral fellows.
  • Teach medical students and pediatric residents.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/School Psychology/Counseling Psychology required.
  • Completion of an APA-approved internship and postdoctoral fellowship or one year of supervised experience in a treatment setting for children and adolescents.
  • Licensure by Connecticut State Department of Public Health as a Psychologist.
  • CPR certification required within 60 days of hire and renewed every 2 years.
