Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a school district in Peabody, Massachusetts. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Job SummaryThis Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for supervising Speech Language Pathologists Assistants (SLPAs), conducting speech assessments, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and other related tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and a strong understanding of the needs of students with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise SLPAs: Provide guidance and support to SLPAs to ensure they are providing high-quality services to students.
- Conduct Speech Assessments: Develop and implement assessments to identify student communication strengths and weaknesses.
- Participate in IEP Meetings: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans for students.
- Other Related Tasks: Participate in professional development opportunities, stay current with best practices in speech therapy, and contribute to the overall success of the school district.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school setting.
- Certifications/Licenses: Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Massachusetts.
- Competitive Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
