Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Stepdown team at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, utilizing critical thinking skills to make informed decisions.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
