Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Position Overview

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and we are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our team.

We will soon be moving to our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team consists of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient condition; prepare, position, and provide patient care
  • Maintain a sterile environment
  • Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation
  • Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager
  • Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $57,616 to $94,272, depending on previous work experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
