Job Description

Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Systems Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and executing system tests, prototype and integrate test equipment, and document test protocols, fixtures, and reports for the Surgical Robotics system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute system tests to ensure the Surgical Robotics system meets the required specifications and standards.
  • Prototype and integrate test equipment to support the testing process.
  • Document test protocols, fixtures, and reports to ensure accurate and transparent testing results.
  • Manage and own projects, as well as support other engineers in test and equipment development activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers from all functional teams, including R&D, Systems, Quality Engineering, and external vendors.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Engineering or other applicable technical degree or M.S desired.
  • 0-5 yrs of industry experience.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to function without much supervision.
  • Experience with either medical device verification or other highly regulated industry such as automotive is required.
  • Ability to produce formal documentation.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to spend more than 50% of their time writing documents.
  • Understanding of medical device quality management systems (QMS).
  • Ability to function independently and work in a team.
  • Knowledge of SW Python (Python and MATLAB, and some Linux).
  • Mechatronics/Capital system/Integrated HW + SW preferred.
  • Test method, design verification, documentation experience desired (Agile/PLM, test cases, protocol, IQOQ, etc.).
  • Proven ability to learn in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Gain experience learning how to use and drive the project Surgical Robotic System.
  • Learn requirements and activities needed to support the project through design verification.
  • Flexible/open to shift work (morning or afternoon) based on system time availability.
  • Potential for OT pay for weekends, and afternoons/evenings during busy times.
