Speech Therapist Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist Assistant to join our team in Taos, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of speech therapy experience and be licensed to practice in New Mexico.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires onsite work during the school year. The caseload will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
- $55,000 - $65,000 annual salary, depending on experience
- Guaranteed work hours
- Liability insurance coverage
- Health, vision, dental, and 401k benefits for full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week
- A valid New Mexico State SLP License
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Prior school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
