Cybersecurity Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a Cybersecurity Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and coordinating the Cybersecurity program.
Key Responsibilities- Instructional Development: Develop and maintain course documentation, review and select textbooks, maintain audio-visual and other materials, and be well-prepared for class.
- Teaching Performance: Provide students with a course syllabus, grading and attendance policy, and other relevant information in a timely manner, relate instructional practical examples and illustrations, and follow acceptable department and college grading policies.
- Student Advisement: Maintain required office hours, publicize office hours and availability, refer students to other persons for assistance, and meet with students in a timely manner.
- College and/or Community Service: Assist with recruitment, assist with job or transfer placement, cooperate with or participate in projects or activities of other instructional and support areas, and serve effectively on college or community committees.
- Instructional Management: Submit reports in a timely manner, arrange the physical environment for effective learning, provide effective classroom or lab supervision, and maintain accurate records.
- A Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Information Science, Information Assurance, or a related field, or a Master's degree plus eighteen (18) graduate hours in the field of study.
- Two (2) years of college-level teaching experience and industry certifications are preferred.
