NY Financial Accountant Opportunity

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a leading organization seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for their team in Brewster, NY. This role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support the month-end close process by managing the general ledger and accounts receivable.
• Review financial results and provide variance analysis to identify trends and compare to budget.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Assist with quarterly and annual covenant reporting.
• Support payroll calculations and ensure accurate provider payments.
• Prepare documentation for external audits and maintain accurate records.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
