">- We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse II to join our Medical/Surgical Unit at Northern Light Health.
About the Role
">This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week on alternate shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to assigned patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a safe and healthy environment.
Key Responsibilities
">- Promote a safe and therapeutic environment by assisting in the planning and implementation of hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform in-depth assessments utilizing advanced knowledge and skills, anticipating and detecting subtle shifts in patient status and needs.
- Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills, serving as an interdepartmental resource and coordinating multidisciplinary plans of care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve unit-based performance improvement priorities and nurse-sensitive outcomes.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and implementation of performance improvement priorities.
Requirements
">- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- No previous experience necessary, but prior nursing experience is an asset.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
