Leadership Opportunity in Pediatric Cardiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team as Co-Director of the Heart Center at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric cardiology and leadership experience in a similar setting. They will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the Heart Center, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance innovative approaches to pediatric cardiac care, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the Heart Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Heart Center
  • Collaborate with the Co-Director and multidisciplinary teams to advance innovative approaches to pediatric cardiac care
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous quality improvement within the Heart Center
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, quality of care and the patient/family experience

Requirements:

  • MD required from an accredited school of medicine with at least 10 years post-pediatric residency and fellowship in Cardiology
  • Unrestricted medical license and American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board certified in pediatric cardiology
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with ability to listen and tailor information to specific audiences
  • Collegial and highly collaborative with a track record of fostering a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork and inclusiveness
