Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team at Williamson Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the well-being of obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic patients.

About Our Team

At Williamson Health, we pride ourselves on delivering world-class, compassionate care to our community. Our state-of-the-art hospital features 203 beds, over 40 providers at our medical group locations, and comprehensive in-patient and out-patient services.

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, you will assess patient needs, plan individualized care, and facilitate staff development. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care, from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time frame
  • Plan individualized care based on patient needs, identifying problems and nursing diagnoses
  • Coordinate patient teaching, discharge, and post-discharge needs
  • Administer medications safely and accurately according to hospital policies
  • Document patient information accurately and timely
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Licensure by the State of Tennessee
  • Nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • At least one year of perinatal experience (preferred)
  • Certified Lactation Consultant (desired)
  • NRP certification within six months of hire
