Job Description
The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for obtaining information from doctors and entering data into the medical management system. This individual will also create case files for services that require authorization, deliver strong customer service and problem solving, and track customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain information from doctors and enter data into the medical management system.
- Create case files for services that require authorization.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve problems efficiently.
- Monitor and track customer complaints.
- Provide triage and management of calls.
- Offer feedback to leadership regarding training needs.
- Collaborate with management to determine the best approach to serving customers.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information.
- Participate in special projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Utilization Management experience (preferred).
- Health care background (preferred).
