The estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:
  • Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, including basic and intermediate imaging processing, body, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, contrast, orthopedic, and extremity scans.
  • Obtain medical history from patients and compare requisitions to physicians' orders to ensure exam accuracy.
  • Position patients and select scanning factors, adjusting as needed to attain accurate images, while providing radiation protection and safety.
  • Administer contrast media under the direction of radiologists and assist with proper scanning techniques.
  • Post-process images as directed, accurately identifying and labeling patient information, and maintaining records in accordance with regulatory agencies.
  • Identify equipment performance issues, perform quality assurance tests, and report malfunctioning equipment to appropriate staff.
  • Perform various patient positioning and transporting duties, requiring lifting, pushing/pulling, and utilizing proper technique.
Requirements:
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), obtained within 18 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained within 6 months.
  • Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
