We're proud to offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Job Description

The Student Success Specialist will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual and group counseling sessions to help students resolve interpersonal or family problems that interfere with school performance.
  • Conducting interviews with students, family members, and school personnel to gather information required to assess student social, emotional, and behavioral adjustment to school and the community.
  • Maintaining regular contact with students' parents/guardians to inform them of student progress, areas of difficulty, and any changes or situations in home life that may affect school performance.
  • Developing and updating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs) as needed in adherence to company, school, state, and federal regulations and procedures.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A Master's degree or higher in educational counseling, therapy, social work, or a closely related field.
  • State and district requirements for appropriate licensing or credentials, including licenses such as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
  • Prior experience working with students with emotional disorders and challenging behaviors in an education or classroom setting.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis and positive behavior intervention and support techniques.
