Ascension offers a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Respiratory Leader to join our team as a Lead in Respiratory Services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee assigned staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

This role involves leading shift operations, coordinating resources, and providing technical guidance to staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate activities, resources, and associates on assigned shifts.
  • Perform similar duties with staff, serving as a technical or functional resource.
  • Assign, monitor, and review progress of work.
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures, monitoring and reporting any deviations.
  • Oversight and evaluation of associate orientation and training.
  • Input into performance reviews and evaluations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Respiratory Care Practitioner or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • High School diploma equivalent with 2 years cumulative experience, Associate's degree with 1 year experience, or 5 years job-specific experience.
