Job Overview
Texas A&M International University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Campus Support Assistant to join our team. As a Campus Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the department of ACE-Academic Support with general office duties and responsibilities.

Estimated Salary: $8.00/hour, up to 19 hours weekly

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and students, handling routine office inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance and responsibilities of the assigned department, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Perform various clerical functions, including answering phones, filing, scheduling, organizing, and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours per semester for undergraduates and 3 credit hours per semester for graduates) at Texas A&M International University.
  • Maintain a TAMIU overall GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate students and 3.0 for graduate students.
  • Meet all requirements stated in TAMIU's Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAPP).

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in using personal computer workstations with common software applications.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills to ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficient in learning and utilizing multiple software programs.

Additional Requirements:
  • This position requires on-campus, face-to-face interactions.
  • A regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace is expected.
  • Work schedules will be created by the department based on departmental needs, ensuring they do not conflict with class schedules.
  • Prompt completion of all required trainings is mandatory.
  • Submission of biweekly time sheets is required.
  • Subject to funding and/or need.
