Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description:

  • Create engaging events and activities that cater to the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the community team to plan, schedule, and conduct programs that promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing a calendar of events that includes set-up, running, and breaking down for each event.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours (evenings and every other weekend) for planned activity events.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement resident activity plans that incorporate their interests and preferences.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of events and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with the community's memory care team to provide tailored activities for residents with cognitive impairments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years of experience in assisted living or long-term care working with memory care patients.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to encourage and motivate older adults.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated creative ability.
  • Strong organizational, delegation, and consensus-building skills.
