Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

At Great Dane, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to support all functions of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS, compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain employee-related databases and prepare reports to carry out departmental functions.
  • Partner with local management to communicate HR policies, procedures, and laws.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and advise managers on employment issues.
  • Assist with monitoring employee wages and promotions, and process personnel-related documentation.
  • Administer benefits enrollment and handle leaves of absence requests.
  • Protect employee and company interests in accordance with company policies and governmental laws.
  • Handle full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate interviews, and reference checks.
  • Maintain employee hardcopy files and input data into the HRIS database.
  • Process various forms related to documenting HR activities.
  • Handle employee inquiries on policies, benefits, payroll, and compensation.
  • Assist the HR Manager in identifying and resolving employee relations, morale, and productivity concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
  • At least two years of experience working with an HRIS, including employee relations and HRIS.
  • Certifications: PHR/SPHR preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to perform statistical analysis, and experience with MS Office programs.
  • Knowledge of recruiting, HR, and organizational development practices and procedures.
  • Ability to recruit and evaluate applicants using independent judgment and discretion.
