Job Title: Acquisition Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Acquisition Sales Representative to join our team at MarketSource. The primary focus of this role is to identify and acquire new customers interested in Avaya solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
  • Build and foster relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored Avaya solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to C-level executives to showcase the benefits and features of Avaya solutions.
  • Manage and update the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to identify potential areas for growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Five years minimum experience in acquisition sales, preferably in the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting sales targets and other KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of Avaya solutions and their applications, specifically Avaya Experience Platform and Avaya cloud voice solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience selling to healthcare, education, or state government entities.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and SalesLoft preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
