Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Manager to oversee the efficient management and coordination of transportation services for guests and team members at Homewood Suites Cincinnati Airport South - Florence.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities, a customer-focused mindset, and relevant experience in either the hospitality or transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the hotel's transportation services, including shuttle operations, airport transportation, and partnerships with local transportation providers.
  • Develop and implement efficient transportation schedules to meet guest needs and optimize resource usage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns related to transportation.
  • Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including airport transfers, local attractions, and event transportation.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of hotel vehicles, ensuring they are safe, clean, and in good working condition.
  • Schedule regular inspections and repairs for hotel transportation assets.
  • Hire, train, and supervise transportation staff, including drivers and support personnel.
  • Foster a positive and efficient work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Develop and manage the transportation department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
  • Monitor and report on transportation expenses and revenue.
  • Ensure all transportation operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and licensing requirements.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training for transportation staff.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local transportation vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effective transportation options for guests.
  • Analyze transportation service metrics and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement changes as needed to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in transportation management, hospitality, or customer service required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software.
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
