About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Covenant Hobbs Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, and take appropriate action to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in maternal-child healthcare.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • New Mexico Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year RN experience.
