Nurse Care Specialist

As a Registered Nurse with Caris Healthcare, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. This is a part-time position working weekends, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patient symptoms, documenting in required software
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Advocate for patients, providing information on rights, grievance procedures, and reimbursement procedures
- Supervise and direct aides and licensed practical nurses
- Participate in on-call rotating schedule and provide backup assistance as requested
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse license in the state
- Experience in Hospice or Home Health preferred
- Sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and patient family teaching
