Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinic Registered Nurse to join our team at Great Plains Health.

Job Summary

This is a dynamic opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment. As a Clinic Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Ensure quality patient care by following provider preferences, explaining procedures, and reinforcing recommendations using the AIDET process.
  • Medication Management: Provide prescribed sample medications according to approved nursing techniques and administer injections/immunizations as prescribed by providers.
  • Documentation: Accurately record visit information, medication lists, family and social history, and vital signs using Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
  • Communication: Communicate clinical data test/procedure results accurately to the healthcare team and document understanding of instructions given to patients/families/guardians.
  • Office Procedures: Assist with office procedures as requested by physicians and administer IV/medications/treatments/procedures as prescribed under the scope of practice.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Credentials: Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
  • BLS Certification: Required; additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently, possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs.
Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
