Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care to members with communication and swallowing disorders.

Job Summary:
Provides individualized therapy and treatment programs to adults and children with a variety of communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluates patients to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to improve or restore communicative facility.
  • Administers diagnostic tests and provides individualized treatment to adults and children.
  • Collaborates with physicians to recommend and implement appropriate treatments.
  • Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
  • Provides in-service training to healthcare staff and supervises the development and treatment of Speech Pathology Assistants.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • One year clinical experience in dysphasia management and Speech Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier.
