Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Transport and Logistics Coordinator to join our team at South Shore Health. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Transport: Safely and efficiently transport patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the hospital campus.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with teams and departments to ensure seamless logistics operations, including dispatching services, procuring supplies, and maintaining a safe and clean patient environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers, responding to emergencies and bringing code carts as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English, move or lift patients and equipment, and provide high-level customer service in stressful situations.
