Human Resources Generalist

At NR Consulting, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources within a manufacturing setting and possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers. Investigate and resolve employee complaints and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
- Leadership Development: Identify leadership development needs and design programs to enhance leadership skills across the organization. Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on leadership best practices and employee management techniques.
- HR Administration: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma but prefer a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and leadership development. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
