Elizabethtown Store Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company in Elizabethtown, PA. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our business by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment, and supporting our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the salad bar area, including cutting fruit and setting up displays.
- Execute all food safety requirements for the salad bar, adhering to strict guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with regulations.
- Promptly review work schedules, check equipment and supplies, and comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements at the start of each shift.
- Receive, store, and stock items efficiently, maintaining a well-organized inventory system.
- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, display cases, floors, and counters to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand instructions to complete job duties satisfactorily and comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Must complete the 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
- Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as physical base scores for this position.
- Meet company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
- Able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used to perform the job.
- Perform all job functions safely.

Working ConditionsThis role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment with varying temperatures, humidity levels, and exposure to chemicals. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform other physically demanding tasks as required.
Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this role is around $40,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and the cost of living in the Elizabethtown, PA area.
