Job Overview

Impact Automation Inc is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to create mechanical drawing packages in AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D for parcel conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in using the command prompt, line-weights, sheet sets, plotting to PDFs, and x-refs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical conveying systems
  • Create detailed drawings for parcel conveyor systems
  • Ensure designs meet applicable standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Requirements
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, and MS Office
  • Experience in Inventor 3D modeling software or equivalent
  • Strong detailing skills
  • 2+ years of mechanical design experience; 5+ years preferred
  • Sheet metal design experience preferred
