Assembly Technician

Excelitas Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in Miamisburg, Ohio. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and products. Your duties will include receiving detailed instructions, positioning parts in specified relationships, and performing intermediate assembly tasks such as soldering and potting. You will also be responsible for installing finished assemblies in cases and performing inline testing and inspection using measuring instruments and electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as soldering and potting
• Install finished assemblies in cases
• Perform inline testing and inspection using measuring instruments and electrical test equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least six to twenty-four months of industrial experience or similar training
• Ability to read schematics and assembly prints
• Ability to obtain and maintain an IPC/J-STD Certification
