Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated Maritime Outfitting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Maritime Sustainment Group (MSG), you will provide assistance and guidance to other department personnel while analyzing and tracking the procurement of outfitting spares for various Government contracts.
This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills. You must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in training in areas of PTD, IDIQ, outfitting, spare parts, and aftermarket parts
- Expedite purchase orders as necessary; resolve any issues
- Assist in preparation of Maritime Sustainment Plans and Scheduling; responsible for Maritime Sustainment CDRLs/ELIN submittals
- Review: Buy List from the customer for procurement
- Maintain liaison between departments, vendors, customer
- Attend and prepare for all Maritime Sustainment meetings
- Review and utilize contract clauses, language, parameters for procuring spares
- Purchase the procurement of spare parts or other outfitting materials
- Assemble pricing data for proposals and track incurred cost to date on various contracts
- Assist in procurement of aftermarket parts
- Perform other duties as directed by the Manager/Supervisor

While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, the work environment is not climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.

An estimated salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year is offered for this position, depending on experience and qualifications.
