Job Summary

The MRI Technologist Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring that all procedures are performed in a safe and efficient manner. This includes monitoring patient flow, adjusting staff schedules as needed, and maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and adjust patient flow to minimize wait times
  • Serve as a resource to staff on MRI equipment protocols and maintenance
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to new employees
  • Monitor individual staff performance and provide feedback to higher-level authority
  • Maintain a high level of supplies and order as needed

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • One year of work experience in the senior level of the job family
  • Considerable knowledge of policies, standards, procedures, processes, and tools applicable to the work unit and function
  • Ability to effectively monitor patient flow and equipment operation

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT certification
  • State of Washington Certification as a Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT MRI Certification
