About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr./Materials Planner to join our team at AmplifyBio. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for driving results in a fast-paced environment by owning raw materials planning, ensuring availability to support scheduled clinical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support inventory strategy and forecasts; maintain inventory plans and models for raw materials to support clinical production.
  • Determine stock levels for critical inputs; monitor inventory levels and manage excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Identify and communicate supply risks that may impact production schedule.
  • Work cross-functionally to address and resolve any issues related to production and materials planning.
Supply Planning Activities
  • Create and maintain supplier forecasts and purchase orders for specific client projects to meet planned demand.
  • Create and maintain planning and logistics metrics to enable process improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Supply Chain Management.
  • 4+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, and/or related experience.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials planning, production processes, & quality control.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP/FDA regulated industry.
  • Ability to interact well with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent communication and analytics skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Prendio is a plus.
