About the Job

A Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) under the direct supervision of the charge nurse will ensure timely and accurate medication administration. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.

Responsibilities

  • Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
  • Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
  • Reports medication reorder.
  • Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
  • Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
  • Previous patient care experience preferred.
  • Current certification for Medication Aide.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
