Master Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Master Fabricator - Truck Body Welding Specialist to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies in North America.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented welder to work with our state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the production of high-quality truck bodies.

You will be responsible for operating various welding machines, working primarily with aluminum, steel, and galvanneal materials, and ensuring that all welds meet our exceptional quality standards.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, develop new skills, and take on leadership roles within the company.

• Weld metals according to customer or employer requirements.
• Install a variety of lift gates, walk ramps, and platforms.
• Ensure high safety measures while working, including donning protective gear for the face and body.
• Operate heavy equipment such as industrial saws.
• Examine equipment after welding and advise maintenance of defects.
• Plan and set up welding operations before beginning.
• Read blueprints and weld according to plan.
• Train junior and entry-level welders.

• Must be able to pass a weld test.
• Must be proficient in three or more of the welding materials: mild steel, galvanineel, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel.
• Must have 3 years of welding experience or more.
• Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills.
• Basic experience with hand tools.
• Able to understand and comprehend measurement.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints for special applications.
• Must be 18 years old.

$26.70 per hour + $2.50 per hour premium on 2nd shift = $29.20 per hour, plus potential increases based on experience.
