Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist in Home Health

VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Essex County. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients for occupational therapy needs and develop personalized plans of action in collaboration with physicians.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients in their homes, focusing on improving their functional abilities and promoting independence.
  • Document patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
  • Identify counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies to support patients and their families.
  • Monitor the quality and appropriateness of services provided and adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
Requirements
  • Occupational Therapy Licensure in NJ with AOTA certification required.
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid NJ driver's license.
