Sales Director

At Boise Cascade, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for performing marketing and outside sales of a broad mix of products and services to dealer accounts through personal customer contact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Travelling through assigned territory, quoting prices, and conducting sales presentations.
- Developing sales strategies and product promotions.
- Resolving customer issues, responding to complaints and receivable problems, and providing claims service.
- Maintaining knowledge of competitor products.
- Managing territory / customers for profitable results.
- Providing promotional and merchandising support to customers in support of vendors.
- Developing promotions, administering co-op, and providing training to customers, customer associates, and contractors.
The ideal candidate will have a college degree or equivalent work experience in a related job function, with five years of experience in sales and marketing. They will also have extensive experience in commodity and non-commodity products, inside and outside sales, and supervision. Additionally, they will require the use of Excel, Word, and Agility, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, including sales presentation and communication skills.
